KODAK EASYSHARE Z950, EASYSHARE M381, and EASYSHARE M341 Digital Cameras

New LG-BL40 Chocolate Phone Images and Details Released

The mysterious LG-BL40 Chocolate phone has finally been officially announced by LG Electronics with a set of photos showing-off the new LG Black Label Series phone's rather long design. The new Chocolate phone features a 4.0-inch wide “Real VGA” high-definition LCD screen with an 800 x 345 pixel resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. You won't have to scroll horizontally to read web pages on this device, but it looks like you'll do a lot of scrolling down when the LG-BL40 Chocolate Phone is in landscape mode. The 4.0-inch display is also said to feature a Dual Screen UI that can efficiently display two different types of content simultaneously. That's all the teaser info released on this unique device for now, but LG says that the LG-BL40 Chocolate Phone will be available in Q3 2009.

Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 Home Theater Systems

Onkyo has released two new 7.1-channel home theater systems featuring AV receivers with 1080p-compatible HDMI 1.3a inputs, 130 watt-per-channel amplification, and support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio lossless audio formats and Dolby’s new ProLogic IIz processing. The Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 systems each include a high performance 7.1-channel speaker system with a 10-inch 230-watt bass reflex subwoofer. Onkyo has also includes its U-Port single-cable iPod dock and charging system on these models.

Pricing for the new home theater systems is suggested at $899 for the Onkyo HT-S7200 and $699 for the HT-S6200 system.

Nikon D300s Pro-level Digital SLR and Nikon D3000 Entry-level Digital SLR Cameras Announced

Nikon just added two new cameras to their 2009 line-up. The Nikon D300s is the company's new professional-level digital SLR camera and it features a 12.3-megapixel CMOS sensor and 51-point autofocus system, 720p HD video capture, and 7 frame-per-second (fps) continuous shooting. The D300s camera body will be available in late August 2009 for $1799.95.

Nikon's new 10.2-megapixel  D3000 digital SLR camera is aimed at photography enthusiasts looking for an affordable compact D-SLR, and it features a helpful Guide Mode for new D-SLR users and a Retouch Menu that allows you to edit photos right on the camera. The D3000 also includesx an 11-point autofocus system, Nikon's EXPEED image processing, Active D-Lighting system and 3D Color Matrix Metering II.
The D3000 boasts an AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens, and it will hit stores in late August 2009 for $599.95.

Apple users now have their own Eye-Fi card called the Eye-Fi Geo. The wireless SD memory card integrates with Apple Mac products and apps like iPhoto '09 and '08, the iPhone and MobileMe, and it allows you to automatically upload photos from a digital camera to a computer. The 2GB Eye-Fi Geo card is available exclusively at Apple stores and Apple.com for $59.99, and it includes lifetime geotagging service.

Logitech Announces 7 New Webcams and Logitech Vid - Video Calling

A bunch of new webcams are on the way from Logitech in August, along with a new free video calling tool called Logitech Vid that works with the devices. The new webcams include the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 ($99.99), Logitec Portable Webcam C905 ($99.99), Logitech Webcam C600 ($79.99), Logitech Webcam C500 ($49.99), Logitech Webcam C300 ($49.99), Logitech Webcam C250 ($39.99) and the Logitech Webcam C200 ($29.99). HTC Touch Pro2 Smartphone with QWERTY keyboard Headed to T-Mobile USA in August

Since the HTC Touch Pro2 was announced a while back folks have been waiting for this impressive smartphone to hit the U.S., and on August 12th, T-Mobile USA will bring it to customers in a mocha colored finish. HTC Touch Pro2's 3.6-inch color WVGA touchscreen (800 x 480 pixel) with TouchFLO 3D interface slides back to reveal a full-QWERTY keyboard, letting the device sit nicely for reading and creating e-mail, browsing the Web, using apps, and playing videos and games.

The Touch Pro2 Smartphone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and it runs on T-Mobile’s 3G network. Features include Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), stereo Bluetooth, built-in GPS with location-based services, and a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus. The phone also includes Straight Talk technology which is described as an integrated e-mail, voice and speakerphone experience.  Straight Talk lets a user respond to e-mail via a call, organize conference calls from group e-mail, and hold a conference from any location.

KODAK has taken the whole pocket cam craze to the next level by introducing the new Zi8 Pocket Video Camera with high-quality 1080p HD video recording and built-in electronic image stabilization. It will be available in aqua, raspberry and black colors this September for $179.95.

The slim KODAK Zi8 is an east-to-use palm-sized camcorder with no lens cap, dials to turn or settings to adjust. This model features a 2.5” color LCD, 5-MP 16:9 widescreen still photos, an external microphone jack, a swing-out USB arm for charging and uploading, and built-in software for sharing content to Facebook and YouTube.

The KODAK Zi8 Pocket Video Camera is compatible with PC and Mac, and it can record up to 10 hours of HD video on a 32 GB SCHD card. The device ships with an in-box HDMI cable, and an optional KODAK Pocket Video remote control is also available.

Touch Screen Sonos Controller 200 Released - Demo Video

The Sonos Controller 200, Sonos' new CR200 wireless music controller, boasts a 3.5” full-color (640x480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display which lets you easily search and play music, as well as control multi-room music systems. The ultra-responsive touch screen display on the Sonos Controller 200 is pretty slick, as you'll see in the demo video below.

The device is priced at $349 and it comes with Sonos' Charging Cradle 200. The CR200 controller is also available as part of the new Sonos Bundle 250 ($999) which also includes a Sonos ZonePlayer 90 and a Sonos ZonePlayer 120. With one of these ZonePlayers and the new Sonos Controller 200 you can find and play music from Napster and Rhapsody, more than 25,000 radio stations and podcasts, Last.fm, Pandora, SIRIUS Internet Radio, and your own personal music library.
