New Gateway FX, DX and SX Series Desktop PCs
Gateway announced its latest gaming, multimedia and small form factor PCs, including the FX Series (pictured above) affordable gaming PCs, the DX line of multimedia PCs, and SX series small form factor PCs.
The new Gateway FX Series gaming desktop PCs start at $1,299 and sport a newly designed chassis featuring a race car theme with red accents and lighting. Notice the easy to access ports at the top front of the PC, where you'll also find high-def headphone and microphone jacks, and media card reader. There's also a recessed storage tray on the top of the chassis where you can place cameras, smartphones and MP3 players when downloading files.Two additional USB ports are right on the back of the tray as well.
The FX series have a roomy 1.5 TB drive, and there's room for even more storage with two external hard drive bays. Both new FX models feature ATI Radeon HD5850 graphics and the Intel Core i7-860 processor with Turbo Boost Technology. The FX6831-03 model is the higher-end model, with a Blu-ray drive and 16GB of DDR3 memory added.

The Gateway SX Series are small form factor desktop PCs. The SX2840-01 model features the Intel Core i3 530 processor, 6GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, packing av lot of power in a compact design. the system includes a handy HDMI, and multi-in-one card reader. You also get a Photo Frame button that turns an attached monitor into a photo slide show.

Moving on to the DX Series Desktops, these are said to be "multimedia workhorses" featuring an Intel Core i5 650 processor, a Blu-ray drive, NVIDIA GeForce graphics and 6GB of memory on the DX4831-03 model.
