Each fitted with a 600 MHz ARM 9 processor, these multi-media gadgets play photos, videos, and music, but they are also designed to keep users in touch and informed, with easy access to news, weather and local business directories which can all be configured to appear as live widgets on the home screen or accessed in the web browser. Starting at $179, the portable ARCHOS 7 Tablet sports a 7'' touch screen and a slim form factor at 12 mm thick. It has built-in Wi-Fi, and built-in USB for transferring files from a PC, digital camera or other digital device. This model will be available in 2 GB and 8 GB and it offers 7 hours of video playback and up to 44 hours of music playback.
