Dell OptiPlex 980 Desktop PC Brings the Power

Dell has announced its most powerful business desktop computer to date, the high-performance OptiPlex 980 commercial desktop PC which delivers up to 35 percent greater performance than previous generation OptiPlex systems, according to Dell. While adding more power to the computer, they also gave it an energy-efficient design which meets Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Gold government environmental standards. Among the options on the Dell OptiPlex 980 desktops, there's Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor technology, Solid State Drives, and an optional Dell EcoKit that reduces system noise by up to 50 percent.

The OptiPlex 980 will be available in three sizes - minitower, desktop, and small form factor chassis options when it's released worldwide in the coming weeks starting price of $807.
