Crunchgear was lucky enough to get to test out the innovative Honda U3-X one-seated transportation machine, a contraption that keeps you balanced while getting you where you need to go. This "people mover" was designed for those with debilitating injuries or problems walking, and it runs by moving your body forward, backwards, or even side to side in the direction you want to go. It reminds me of the Segway, but the Honda U3-X takes it to the next level with a wheels-within-wheels system that allows for 360-degree motion, which is how you can move sideways on this thing. Apparently the machine lasts one hour on a charge, availability and pricing are not known, but after watching this demo video, you might want one of your own.
