Hulu.com is set to launch its new Hulu Plus subscription service for watching TV shows anytime and anywhere on an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch and iPad via Wi-Fi or 3G, as well as at home on select Samsung Internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players streaming HD content in 720p high definition using a Hulu Plus application from the Samsung app store. Hulu Plus will also be available on a bunch of other devices like XBOX 360, PlayStation 3, and HDTVs /BD players from Sony and Vizio in the near future.
"The Hulu Plus app on the iPhone streams over 3G and Wi-Fi. It’s TV shows in the palm of your hand. A spare five minutes will never be as boring again. You can start watching a show on your HDTV one night, pick up where you left off on your laptop at lunch, watch another chunk on the bus ride home on your iPhone, and finish watching in bed on your iPad. The time to watch your favorite shows is any time you want."
If you were hooked on watching Hulu content through the browser on a Mac or PC, Hulu Plus is a service that might interest you, though it will cost you $9.99 per month when it launches in July. You can sign-up for a preview of Hulu Plus today. The video below tells the rest of the story.
