The new SANYO VPC-PD2BK Pocket-Size Dual Camera captures both high quality 10MP photos and Full HD
(1920 x 1080 30p) videos. The compact camera is about the size of a deck of cards, and it has 3x optical zoom
and embedded software for easy uploading and sharing of video on social networks like YouTube, Facebook,
and Picasa. Released this month for $169.99, this handy camera is equipped with two microphones to record stereo
sound, a SD / SDHC / SDXC memory card slot, and a mini-HDMI port for connecting and viewing images on an HDTV. The
SANYO VPC-PD2BK also boasts a High Speed Sequential Shooting Mode.
HP recently released their new Mini 210 and Mini 5103 Mini Notebooks with a fresh design and new color options. The redesigned HP
Mini 210 mini laptop, priced at $329, is an ultra portable netbook measuring less than 1-inch thin and weighing 3.1 pounds. HP says that it comes standard with an inline six-cell battery that
provides up to 10.75 hours of battery life, great for surfing the web, checking email, and watching video on-the-go.

HP Mini 210 includes built-in wi-fi, a webcam, microphone and a
nearly full-sized, island-style keyboard. Options on the computer include the new dual-core Intel Atom processor N550, in addition to the
Intel Atom N455 and N475 processor options. An optional 10.1-inch diagonal HD display and Broadcom Crystal
HD Enhanced Video Accelerator on the HP Mini 201 enables smooth 720p and 1080p HD contentplayback and video streaming, while Dolby Advanced Audio
handles optimal playback for movies, music and gaming.
Samsung Electronics's new HMX-E10 point-and-shoot HD
camcorder offers full-HD recording with a 270-degree swiveling lens in the palm of your hand. It captures both 1920x1080 full HD resolution video (30p
/ H.264) and 8 mega-pixel digital still images, and it sports a 2.7-inch wide touch-screen LCD. The screen is divided into two sections when recording video, with the top area displaying the live view and the bottom displaying various
touch-screen controls like record, stop and play. The swivel lens can be rotated to shoot yourself while viewing the screen as well, which is a pretty handy feature.
As you would expect, the Samsung HMX-E10 HD camcorder ($199) makes uploading video to YouTube a breeze. It has an interactive and onscreen upload button which links
directly to YouTube when it's connected to a computer
with an internet connection.
FUJIFILM's new FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera is scheduled to
be available in early September for $499.95, not quite priced for a
recession, but it is a unique compact camera. The
FinePix REAL 3D W3 shoots high-resolution 3D photos and movies in
3D HD at 720p, and it features a new RP (Real Photo) processor, an
Autostereoscopic 3D Widescreen 3.5” LCD, and a Mini HDMI
port for easy playback on most 3D televisions.
SanDisk has introduced its latest portable media player, the new Sansa
Fuze+ MP3 player, available now in red, white, black, blue and purple colors. The
player comes in 4, 8 and 16 gigabyte versions priced at $79, $89
and $119, respectively.
The Sansa Fuze+ is a successor to the Sansa
Fuze MP3 player, and now has a rounded palm-friendly design, a new capacitive touchpad and a 2.4”
QVGA LCD screen for viewing videos or
Apple's fourth generation iPod shuffle player will be available for $49 for a 2GB model in silver, blue, green,
orange and pink this week at Apple’s retail stores and and select retailers, and online. The new iPod shuffle is packaged with Apple Earphones and the iPod shuffle USB cable.
The new re-designed iPod nano player comes to stores this week with a fresh multi-touch interface and square shaped design, with prices set at
$149 for the 8GB model and $179 for the 16GB model. Each option is available in silver, graphite, blue, green, orange and pink colors. The player gets a new built-in clip for easy wearability, and it's still the only iPod with an FM radio.
Apple's new iPod touch arrives this week priced at of
$229 for the 8GB model, $299 for the 32GB model and $399 for the 64GB iPod touch player. The new iPod touch comes with the latest iOS 4.1 mobile operating system featuring
FaceTime video calling, multitasking, folders and Game Center.
The device also boasts Apple's Retina Display, A4 chip, and HD video recording.
