New Canon PowerShot N Digital Camera

Canon's new compact PowerShot N digital camera joins the company's popular PowerShot lineup, and it will hit stores in April for $299.99, in white or black. Measuring 3.09 x 2.37 x 1.15 inches, the 12.1- megapixel PowerShot N features a 2.8-inch capacitive, tilt-touch panel LCD, and 8x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens, a DIGIC 5 Image Processor, and the camera records 1080p Full HD video with a dedicated movie button.

The PowerShot N also offers Creative Shot mode which is said to enhance your artistic expression, and Creative Shot, a new imaging mode that analyzes an image and automatically creates a series of five artistic photos of the original with varying composition, lighting and color, according to Canon.

There's built-in Hybrid Auto and Face ID systems for pin-sharp focus, and Canon's Intelligent IS System is on-board the camera to automatically select the optimal image stabilization settings according to shooting conditions. The PowerShot N is also equipped with enhanced wireless capabilities for sharing images with friends on-the-go, and Canon's free CameraWindow application is available for iOS and Android devices, letting you wirelessly transfer photos and videos to your device. You can also print your photos wirelessly using Wireless PictBridgeiv on Canon's new PIXMA MG6320 or PIXMA MX922 Wireless Photo All-In-One printers.
