Canon has introduced three new compact PowerShot Digital Cameras, the PowerShot ELPH 330 HS, ELPH 115 IS and A2500 point-and-shoot models.
The new PowerShot ELPH 330 HS digital camera pictured above offers advanced wireless connectivity for sharing images, and it packs Canon's HS SYSTEM that delivers clear images with minimal noise and maximum detail even when shooting in low-light. Features on the PowerShot ELPH 330 HS include a 10x optical zoom lens,a 12.1-megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS image sensor, 1080p Full HD video recording, and ISO speed of up to 6400. It comes with Canon's free CameraWindow application for iOS and Android operating systems which you can use to wirelessly transfer photos and videos from the camera to your mobile device. This model hits stores in March, in black, silver and pink for $229.99.
The new pocket-able PowerShot ELPH 115 IS digital camera features an 8x optical zoom lens, a 16-megapixel image sensor and DIGIC 4 image processor. The camera includes Canon's Intelligent IS system technology, and Canon's Smart AUTO mode that selects the proper camera settings based on up to 32 predefined shooting situations. The PowerShot ELPH 115 IS also captured 720p HD video. It will be released in March, in blue, silver, black and pink color choices for $169.99.
The Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera includes a 16-megapixel image sensor and DIGIC 4 Image Processor, a 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom that can extend out to 140mm at the telephoto end. This model also features Canon's Smart AUTO mode, 720p HD video rcording with a dedicated movie button, Canon's new ECO Mode which conserves battery life, and various Scene Modes such as Fisheye Effect, Toy Camera Effect and Monochrome. Expect the PowerShot A2500 digital camera to arrive in April, in silver, red and black colors for $129.99.
