HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook released
HP has announced its first Chromebook, the Pavilion 14 Chromebook, which is said to have a display that is about two inches wider than any other Chromebook in the market, a 14-inch diagonal HP BrightView display. The HP Pavilion Chromebook weighs just under four pounds and it packs a 16GB solid-state drive, up to 4 GB of memory, an HP TrueVision HD
Webcam, a removable battery, and ports that include HDMI, USB 2.0, Ethernet and a combination headphone and microphone jack.
Powered by an Intel Celeron processor and Intel high-definition graphics, this Google-friendly Pavilion 14 Chromebook provides easy access to Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts for multiperson video chat, and to apps in the Chrome Web Store. It also comes with 100 GB of free storage on Google Drive for two years.
