Eye-Fi-Mobile-X2 Eye-Fi Inc. unveiled their new Eye-Fi Mobile X2 8GB wireless memory card, which lets you instantly upload images anywhere by wirelessly connecting your digital camera to a smartphone or tablet.

Priced at $79.99, the Eye-Fi Mobile X2 8GB offers a new "Direct Mode" and app for iOS and Android devices which allows the Eye-Fi card to establish a direct connection to your compatible device via Wi-Fi. Once the connection is set, you can send photos and videos directly from a digital camera to the Eye-Fi app on your device.

It was just a matter of time before we would see Casio come out with a phone, and the time is now. This new twisting Casio EXILIM 5.1 megapixel cameraphone with a slick 180-degree rotating display has just been released by Verizon Wireless, and it features instant messaging, Visual Voice Mail, VZ Navigator, and V CAST Music with Rhapsody. The device is also "ruggedized" and ready for outdoor use, meeting military specifications 810F standards for: water (immersion and rain), humidity, salt-fog, shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, altitude, and low and high temperature storage


Digital camera features on the Casio EXILIM phone include:

-  5.1 megapixel auto focus camera with flash and optical 3x zoom

-  Resolution adjustment: 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 320 x 240, 160 x 120

Samsung Pixon12 - 12-megapixel Camera Phone with 3.1-inch AMOLED Touch Screen

Samsung Pixon12 Samsung Electronics wakes up the cameraphone market by introducing the world’s first 12-megapixel camera phone with a 28mm wide angle lens. And you won't have to wait too long (outside of the U.S.), as the Samsung Pixon12 (M8910) will be available towards the end of June in European countries, while other regions will see the Pixon12 in August.

This cameraphone has a Dedicated Camera Power Key for fast one-touch access to the camera, as well as fast image saving, a Smart Auto feature, and Touch Auto-Focus (AF) tracking which lets you "select a focus point with your finger, after which the AF function will automatically follow the object, keeping it in focus even as it moves across the screen."

Samsung Share Pix is included to help upload images and videos to social networking like Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, MySpace, Photobucket, and Friendster.  Additionally, the Samsung Pixon12 records 720 x 480 resolution video at up to 30fps to 150MB of internal storage or to microSD cards up to 16GB.

LG GC900 Viewty Smart Phone Multimedia Mobile Features

LG Electronics' have sold over 6.5 million of its original Viewty camera phones, and with the release of this new LG GC900 Viewty Smart Phone, expect the line to become hotter than ever. Simply called the "Viewty Smart," this camera phone's highlights include an 8 megapixel sensor with sensitivity up to ISO 1600, Multi-Face Detection, and DVD-quality video recording. The new Viewty Smart also features LG’s easy-to-use S-Class User Interface, and an Intelligent Shot Mode which automatically analyzes scenes and adjusts camera settings accordingly. Several easy shooting modes are on board, including Touch Shot, Art Shot, Beauty Shot, Panorama Shot and Continuous Shot. The LG Viewty Smart has 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA network and Wi-Fi compatibility, as well as A-GPS for geotagging photos. The device includes 1.5 GB of internal memory and a MicroSD card slot that supports up to 32 GB cards.

Viewty Smart also includes the easy-to-use 3D S-Class UI, which debuted on LG’s ARENA earlier this year. LG has tailored S-Class around Viewty Smart’s camera features with an on-screen dial for instantly switching shot modes and a thumbnail viewer that shows recently taken photos without having to switch to the photo gallery. LG even included an easier way to zoom in and out: Simply move your finger in a clockwise circle on the touchscreen to zoom in, as if turning the zoom ring on an SLR camera. Zoom out by moving the finger in the opposite direction. Zooming in and out is also possible with multi-touch pinching and stretching.

LG Viewty Smart is scheduled to be available first in Europe starting this May, and other markets around the world a bit later.

The S312 also features illuminated imaging shortcuts on its keypad and an integrated Photo fix function is also on hand to get the best picture quality. This phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800 and will be available in Dawn Blue and Honey Silver, in Q3 2009.  Sony Ericsson also announced the new Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300 headset to match the S312.

Nokia N86 8MP Camera Phone Demo Video

Nokia N86 8MPA new slim dual-slider phone joins Nokia's NSeries line, featuring a wide-angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and an 8 megapixel sensor. The Nokia N86 8MP phone is expected to begin shipping in Europe in second quarter of 2009 for EUR 375 (about $472) before taxes and subsidies. The cameraphone has a  bright OLED screen with scratch resistant hardened glass, a dual LED camera flash, 8 GB of internal memory for up to 4,000 images, and it supports 16 GB microSD cards.

Samsung OMNIAHD Multimedia Phone Features 720P HD Video Recording

Samsung Electronics' first Omnia phone was cool, but it can't compare to the new Samsung OMNIAHD. Samsung's first Symbian-based full-touch handset is a multimedia powerhouse, and it features a large 3.7", 16: 9 AMOLED screen, an 8MP camera, web browser, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 720P HD video recording and decoding. Samsung says the OMNIA HD phone has the largest Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode touch screen you can find on a mobile device, so you can expect a sharp, vivid viewing experience, even in direct sunlight, as well as less power consumption.

Having already announced the C903 Cyber-shot 5.0 megapixel camera phone and the multimedia Idou phone with 12.1 megapixel digital camera, Sony Ericsson continues its Mobile World Congress 2009  announcements with the new W995 Walkman Phone which boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera and Media Go features.  This video-friendly mobile phone lets you watch news, TV shows, movies and YouTube videos using Turbo 3G or Wi-Fi connections. This is the first cellphone to feature Sony's Media Go application, which lets you automatically transfer audio, photos and videos between the phone and a computer.

The Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman Phone has a 2.6” screen, and ships with Sony HPM-77 premium headphones or HPM-88 noise cancelling headsets in select markets. The phone's 8.1 megapixel camera includes auto focus, photo flash and face detection. The W995 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UTMS/HSPA 900/2100. It will be available in Progressive Black, Cosmic Silver and Energetic Red colors when it's released in Q2 2009.

Sony Ericsson's Idou Phone with 12.1 megapixel Digital Camera Introduced at Mobile World Congress 2009

Sony Ericsson wasted no time at the 2009 MWC by announcing its new Symbian based Idou phone featuring a 12.1-Megapixel digital camera, Xenon flash and 3.5-inch 16:9 touch screen. The Idou phone (codename) is a multimedia and entertainment device which also boasts Turbo 3G HSDPA, and Wi-fi connectivity.

Sony Ericsson has introduced its latest Cyber-shot camera phone, the C903 Cyber-shot, a slim slider with dedicated camera keys and 5-megapixel camera. Useful functions like Face Detection, Smile Shutter, and BestPic add to the C903 Cyber-shot's camera features, while an auto rotating 2.4” display, and aGPS navigation with photo tagging are enticing as well. The C903 Cyber-shot supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100, and is expected to be available in Lacquer Black, Techno White and Glamour Red colors when it ships in Q2 2009.
