Two new PCs have been announced by Lenovo, the space-saving IdeaCentre Q190 desktop PC, described as the world’s smallest full-function PC at just 0.86 inches wide, and a new C-Series all-in-one PC. Both models will be released in January.
Toshiba has announced its new 21.5-inch LX815 and 23-inch LX835 all-in-one desktop PCs which offer full HD 1080p displays with optional touchscreens on edge-to-edge glass, a full-size raised tile wireless keyboard with a 10-key numeric keypad and a matching wireless mouse.
Toshiba's new LX815 and LX835 all-in-one desktop PCs are equipped with 3rd Generation Intel Core processors, up to 16GB RAM, up to 3TB high-speed hard drives, HDMI input, two USB 3.0 ports plus four USB 2.0 ports. Select models will also feature Blu-ray Disc drives and a TV-tuner with an IR blaster for connecting to a set-top box or DVR. These AIO computers also feature SRS Premium Sound 3D Onkyo speakers.
The Toshiba LX815 starts at $599.99, and LX835 starts at $879.99. Expect both models to be available at the beginning of Q3 2012 exclusively at Best Buy stores, e-tailers and at ToshibaDirect.com.

The Alienware X51 features a dual-orientation chassis, and options on the high performance gaming PC include 2nd generation Intel Core i processors, NVIDIA GeForce GT or optional GTX class graphics cards for intense gaming performance, a Blu-Ray disc drive, Wireless-N, HDMI 1.4, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio and GDDR5 graphics memory.
Starting at $699, the entry-level Alienware X51 configuration features a Core i3 processor, 4GB memory, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 graphics, and a 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive.

HP is set to present its first 27-inch all-in-one PC, the new Omni27 at the 2012 CES next week. It hits stores on January 8th in the U.S. starting at $1,199.99. Described as the first non-touch HP PC to feature exclusive HP Magic Canvas software, the HP Omni27 All-in-One PC has a sleek design with a flat-panel display that features edge-to-edge glass on a 27-inch-diagonal high-definition screen which tilts up to 25 degrees. The AIO PC comes with HP Magic Canvas software for viewing and accessing photos, videos and applications, as well as Microsoft Windows desktop shortcuts, task bar and start menu.
Dell is going all-out with the new Alienware Aurora gaming desktop computer, which is described as the company’s most advanced desktop ever for extreme gamers and game developers. Starting at $2,199, the Alienware Aurora desktop systems come loaded with the new Intel Core i7-3000 series six-core CPUs, factory overclocked and liquid cooled, with the Intel X79 Express Chipset, Quad Channel DDR3 memory and the latest SATA technology on board as well.
The HP ENVY line of notebook PCs have been revamped with the new HP ENVY 15 and HP ENVY 17 sporting an all-metal chassis design with rounded edges in a black and silver finish, and the new HP ENVY 17 3D offering a 3-D visual experience on a notebook PC. Notable features on these laptops include a new HP Radiance LED Backlit keyboard, as well as enhanced audio with six speakers and a subwoofer powered by Beats Audio technology.
The ENVY 15 (starting at $1,099.99) and ENVY 17 (starting at $1,249.99) notebooks are available with Intel Quad Core and AMD Mobility Radeon HD graphic processors, and with optional Radiance Full HD Infinity displays in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch diagonal screen sizes. Both models also have support for HDMI and full-size DisplayPorts, and ENVY 17 also offers an advanced option with support for a 128-gigabyte mSATA SSD and up to two 1-terabyte hard drives. Battery life is very good on the new ENVY laptops, the ENVY 15 boasts up to 9 hours of battery life, while the ENVY 17 offers up to 9.5 hours.
