The new Nikon D4 digital SLR camera has been officially announced, and it featues a 16.2-megapixel FX-format (36 x 23.9mm) CMOS sensor, Full HD video recording at 1080p 30/24fps and 60 fps at 720p, and an impressive ISO range from 100 to 204,800. The camera is equipped with dual card slots which support the latest UDMA-7 Compact Flash cards and the new XQD memory cards. Look for the Nikon D4 DSLR to be released in late February 2012 priced at $5999.95

Samsung Electronics's successful DualView line of dual LCD digital cameras gets a new addition with this DV300F model boasting 16 Megapixels, 5x optical zoom and 25mm wide-angle lens. You have a traditional wide display at the back, and a smaller 1.5-inch display on the front of the camera with a visual "Self Timer" for easy self-portraits. That tiny display on the front of the DV300F has a very useful "Child Mode" which displays an animation to keep children focused, and hopefully smiling while you take the picture.
The DV300 DualView also features Wi-Fi connectivity for easy uploading of images online to Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and YouTube. You can also save images to a PC wirelessly with the Auto PC Backup function, or to Cloud services like Samsung’s AllShare Play and Microsoft SkyDrive. The camera is equipped with a microSD memory card slot as well.
You'll have a choice between black, silver, navy and red color options. Availability and pricing were not yet announced.

Belkin has announced its new LiveAction Camera accessories for iPhone and iPod touch devices. They include the LiveAction Camera Grip and LiveAction Camera Remote, new tools that make it easier to snap photos and record video. Using the LiveAction App, you can then share your digital images directly on Facebook or email by following the intuitive on-screen interface. The app also allows you to capture still photos and record video simultaneously. In fact, Belkin says that the LiveAction App, available for free at the Apple App Store, can be used alone as the primary camera app for the iPhone and iPod touch, in case you don't want to spend money on the gear.

Panasonic's new LUMIX DMC-3D1 compact digital camera is set to be released for holiday shoppers in December, priced at $499.99. This advanced compact camera captures 3D and 2D digital photos and videos, and it offers a twin-lens design featuring 25mm ultra-wide angle lenses with 4x optical zoom for recording high resolution 8-megapixel 3D photo and 1920x1080 60i high quality 3D HD video using a side-by-side method. The unique twin-lens system also allows the LUMIX 3D1 to capture 12-megapixel 2D photos and record 1920x1080i full HD 2D videos simultaneously, which is pretty cool.
Panasonic describes it like this:

Nikon's new 16.2-megapixel D5100 Digital SLR arrives this month priced $799.95 for the body only, and $899.95 for the body and lens bundle that includes the AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens. Key features on the Nikon D5100 include a unique 3-inch 921,000-dot Vari-angle LCD screen with 1000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD 1080p movie recording with full-time autofocus. This is Nikon's first D-SLR camera to provide in-camera effects that can be applied to both photos and movies.
