Motorola has introduced a new fitness device to help your workout. MOTOACTV, available this November 6th in an 8G model for $249 and 16 GB model for $299, is a wearable fitness performance tracker and music player which, when connected and synced to a PC, lets you set workout goals, track your workouts over extended time periods and check out the music you perform to best, or create workout competitions with your friends via the MOTOACTV Web Portal. According to Motorola, MOTOACTV uses Motorola's AccuSense technology and GPS to measure the accuracy of your performance, with stats like time, distance, speed, heart rate and calories burned.
The ultra-portable MOTOACTV can be held with a strap on your wrist, clipped on your shirt or mounted on a bike. The device measures 46mm x 46mm x 9.6 mm, weighs just 35 grams, and it features a 1.6" full-color touch-screen display for checking all your fitness stats, or connecting to your Android-powered smartphone to answer calls and receive texts while you're on-the-move. The durable display is also sweat-proof, rain-resistant, scratch-resistant, and made with Corning Gorilla Glass that auto-adjusts for indoor or outdoor lighting.
