PlayStation Vita to go on sale at Midnight in 6 Sony Stores

The new PlayStation Vita handheld gaming device will not officially be released in stores until February 22nd, but Sony is set to launch sales at its flagship Manhattan Sony Store (550 Madison Ave.) at midnight on February 15th. PlayStation Vita will be released at Sony Stores in six U.S. cities at midnight on February 22nd.

Dell releases Alienware X51 Gaming Desktop PC

Dell's new Alienware X51 gaming desktop PC is now available and it is the company's smallest gaming desktop to date. It's designed to deliver 1080p high definition and 3D gaming power for today’s top videogames while also being a space-saving compact PC.

The Alienware X51 features a dual-orientation chassis, and options on the high performance gaming PC include 2nd generation Intel Core i processors, NVIDIA GeForce GT or optional GTX class graphics cards for intense gaming performance, a Blu-Ray disc drive, Wireless-N, HDMI 1.4, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio and GDDR5 graphics memory.

Starting at $699, the entry-level Alienware X51 configuration features a Core i3 processor, 4GB memory, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 graphics, and a 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive.

Logitech Cube mouse and presenter device

Logitech-Cube Logitech recently unveiled the slick little Logitech Cube, which works as both a mouse and a presenter.  In mouse mode, the Logitech Cube scrolls when you swipe your finger along the main panel, with Logitech’s Flow Scroll software providing a smooth scrolling experience.

If you need to make a presentation, use Logitech Cube as a presenter by lifting it in the air to switch it into presenter mode. According to Logitech, clicking the top of the mouse advances to the next slide, and if you need to go back you turn the mouse over in your hand and click again. The Logitech Cube comes with the tiny Logitech Unifying receiver featuring Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity.

Sensics Introduces Interactive 3D Goggles

If you're headed to the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, you might want to stop by Sensics' stand, where the company is planning to unveil their SmartGoggles for 3D, 360-degree gaming and entertainment. Watch the video presentation below, and you'll see how cool this system looks. The company says that SmartGoggles contain an embedded processor running Android to run applications in a standalone mode, and apparently these immersive SmartGoggles can be paired with game consoles, smartphones, tablets, or PCs and used as a 3D display.

Just ahead of the holiday shopping season, Disney Interactive Studios has released Disney Pixar’s Cars 2: The Video Game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming system. Priced at $29.99, Cars 2: The Video Game will take advantage of the stereoscopic 3D display on the Nintendo 3DS, which is pretty impressive.
