Microsoft Xbox One gaming and entertainment system launched worldwide

Microsoft made a big splash with its worldwide launch of the Xbox One gaming and entertainment system today. New videogames and exclusive titles are available as well, along with advanced software tools and exclusive features like Xbox Live, Kinect and Xbox One SmartGlass that will enhance the experience. According to Microsoft, the new-generation Kinect offers improved voice and motion control to respond to your commands and gestures for games, live TV, Skype, sports, fitness, music and more.

EA Sports announces UEFA EURO 2012 expansion pack for FIFA Soccer 12

Electronic Arts'  EA SPORTS celebrates the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012  European Football Championship matches by releasing EA SPORTS UEFA EURO 2012, a digital expansion pack for FIFA Soccer 12 available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

UEFA EURO 2012 is scheduled for release on April 24, 2012 for $19.99, 1800 MS Points and 2,500 FIFA Points on PC.

EA’s Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Racing Game Released

Electronic Arts and its Criterion Games studio have released the new Need for Speed Hot Pursuit racing game at retail stores in North America. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is available for Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 ($59.95), PC and Nintendo Wii ($49.95) gaming systems, as well as on the AppStore for iPhone and iPod touch devices for $4.99.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit comes packaged with an Online Pass for Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network that gives players access to head-to-head multiplayer, two exclusive cars - the Lamborghini LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni and the Lamborghini LP 570-4 Superleggera - and 10x the storage capacity at no extra charge.

Set to be broadcast live on Saturday, December 11th at 8 p.m. on Spike TV, the 2010 Video Game Awards nominees were announced from games that have been released between November 25, 2009 to November 2010. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 Videogame Released

The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 1 videogame, based of course on the hit movie. The videogame is available for the Xbox 360 console ($49.95), Xbox 360 with the Kinect motion control device, PlayStation 3 ($49.95), Nintendo Wii ($49.95), Nintendo DS ($29.95), Windows PC ($29.95) and mobile devices, all available on EA's store online.

Microsoft has sold 1 million Kinect for Xbox 360 Devices

After just ten days since Kinect was released with a ton of hype, Microsoft has already sold 1 million Kinect for Xbox 360 units worldwide. Microsoft is now estimating that Kinect will sell about 5 million units by the end of the year, making the company's controller-free gaming efforts successful. Some 17 controller-free Kinect games are available so far.
